Mama Margaret, a True Salesian Hero |

 It
has been 150 years since Mama Margaret died. The intensity of
her virtue has been recognized by the church, and she has been
declared a servant of God. This year our Rector Major, Fr. Pascual
Chavez, SDB, has asked that the Salesian family pray fervently
for her cause of beatification and canonization. We invite you
to join in this prayer. |

Greetings from Fr. Amalraj Susai, the Provincil of Tiruchy.
Only this morning I received the happy news of Mamma
Margaret being declared Venerable thorugh the e-mail
communication of Fr. Joaquim. I wish to congratulate you
on behalf of the Province of Tiruchy for this timely
annuouncement before the commmemoration of her 150th death
anniversary. Our Province has taken a number of
initiatives for the commemoration of her death
anniversary. Congratulating you for your initiative to
promote devotion to the Mother of our Founder and praying
for you, |

We, Salesians and the Salesian Family in BEN, are very
happy that Mamma Margherita now is Venerable.
Congratulations. We will pray to Mammma Margherita that
she protect the Salesian Family all over |

world. Last Saturday we had a very good provincial
community-day at Gent with 120 Salesians around Mamma
Margherita. Next week, the 25 November, is in every
community a special day. In the delegation is published a
little book with the history of Mamma Margherita. Our Don
Bosco calendar 2007, 30,000 print run in BEN, present
every month a little story of Mamma Marherita. |
