We, the advocates of the Human Rights Education (HRE) in the Andhra Pradesh region, are just back after enlisting 82 Heads of Schools for Adivasi Children to initiate HRE in their schools. This meant that they first attend an Orientation Programme themselves and then sent one teacher from the faculty for a Three Day Training on Human Rights Education. 96 Teachers attended the three day training programme in 3 batches. News in General, Success Story The Children`s parliament at CR Palem (Bogole Mandal Nellore Dt.) is in the dalit hamlet. The children attend the local government school. Some of them are in the high school. The teachers did not show any appreciation of the Children`s Parliament when it was started. They were of the opinion that it was distracting the children from their studies. They used to discourage the children from participating in the Parliament meetings. The presentation of the DBAI project to be supported by DMOS-COMIDE, Belgium was presented to the staff of development offices began with the staff of Bosco Seva Kendra (BSK) Development Office of the Salesian province of Hyderabad at Don Bosco Provincial House, Hyderabad on 20th July 2010. They were 13 staff of BSK present for the presentation and planning. Mr. Anand who came from DBAI office, Mumbai was the resource person. Fr.
