Refresher SFC at Punganur By Sanjay and Suman |
| Hyderabad, May. 7. There is a time for everything: a time to work, a time to pray, a time to play and a time to refresh. ``We have come here from different places with different experiences to share and to get refreshed in these 20 days of gathering,`` were the words of welcome by Fr Thathireddy Vijayabhaskar, the Vice Provincial. Here is some news from the refreshing Summer Formation Programme (SFC) held annually at Punganur. |

Fr Yetukuri Sleevaraj, the Rector of the Punganur Community extended a warm welcome to 17 Clerics (Practical trainees and Students) for a fruitful and enriching experience. The community members went out of their way to provide everything that we needed for our comfortable stay. The first day was animated by Fr Vice Provincial on Salesian Spirituality. He emphasized on the six basic elements of Salesian Spirituality: Jesus the Good Shepherd, Mary as our Mother and guide, Don Bosco our father and friend, our Salesian vocation, Family Spirit and Preventive System. The afternoon session was animated by Fr Yeruva Arogya on the theme of nourishing the Salesian Spiritual selves. At present we are undergoing a two-day seminar on `Facing Media` by Fr Ralin D`Souza (INP).
Busy with the ministry and various responsibilities during the year, there is little time for sincere and deep reflection. This time at SFC is a time for togetherness. We are grateful to the province for making this space and time for us to reflect and share our experiences and enrich our future apostolate with the young. Look out for more from us, we will keep you posted. |
